Folk troubadour Mark Dvorak to perform at Riverside Farmers' Market July 10
RIVERSIDE IL - The Village of Riverside and the Riverside Public Library will present folk troubadour Mark Dvorak in the entertainment tent at the Riverside Farmers' Market on Wednesday July 10 at 3:00 pm. The market takes place in Centennial Plaza, 10 Pine Avenue at the historic Riverside Water Tower.
“We’re thrilled to have Mark back on our schedule this summer,” said Janice Foley of the Riverside Public Library. “He’s a Midwest folk treasure; a wonderful singer, songwriter and instrumentalist.”
The market runs every Wednesday from June 5 through October 9 from 2:30 pm until 7:00 pm. Live music has been added for the remaining months of the market.
The Chicago Tribune calls Dvorak "masterful," while SING OUT! Magazine says, "Dvorak shines!" His song writing has been called "wondrous" and "profound," and the Old Town School of Folk Music calls him, "the real deal." Mark Dvorak's song book ranges across the American heartland. His show is funny, passionate, intimate and unforgettable.
There is no admission charge. Donations to the artist are accepted.
“Typically shoppers can find fresh fruits and vegetables, herbs, flowers, honey, hot entrees, meats, eggs, bread and more,” said Amy Jacksic of the Village of Riverside. “We love our Farmers’ Market, and love attracting visitors to our historic downtown area.”
