April 27 concert to support the 40th Woodstock Folk Festival
WOODSTOCK IL - The Woodstock Folk Festival will present a spring concert at Stage Left Cafe, 125 West Van Buren Street, on Sunday, April 27 at 2:00 pm.
The event features performances by Tricia Alexander, John Benischek, Mark Dvorak, Val Leventhal, Terry Loncaric, Lia Nicine McCoo and Keryn Moriyah, Les Urban and Russ and Diane Ward.

"Our theme for this year’s event is ‘Becoming the United States of America: Songs of Liberty, Justice and Unity,” said Festival director Carol Obertubesing.
"The theme marks the beginning of the commemoration of our country’s 250th Anniversary. We’re looking forward to a wonderful afternoon celebrating our nation’s history and the long musical legacy here in Woodstock.”
The Woodstock Folk Festival is an all-volunteer 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, made possible by radio partners WDCB, WFMT and WNUR, the City of Woodstock, Real Woodstock, sponsors Steve and Margaret MIkus and many individual supporters.
