With hundreds of songs in their collective repertoire, Chicago’s Christopher Walz and Mark Dvorak have reunited to present “American Back Roads,” and all-acoustic presentation of folk, bluegrass, standards from the Great American Songbook, blues and more.
Chris is a nationally-renowned instrumentalist who plays guitar, bluegrass banjo and mandolin. In 2012, WFMT 98.7 fm radio name Mark “Chicago’s official troubadour.”
Their harmonies are infectious and their concert is musical, engaging, interactive and funny. Chris and Mark met at the venerable Old Town School of Folk Music in Chicago and have collaborated on stage and in the classroom since 1999.
