Sixth White Oak Folk Festival in Dodgeville August 8 - 10
DODGEVILLE WI - The White Oak Savanna and Sancturary, 4352 State Road 23, presents the 6th White Oak Folk Festival on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, August 8, 9 and 10. The family-friendly event annually presents main stage concerts, dancing, workshops, jam sessions, yoga, food, camping and activities for young folks.
Chicago’s The Sons of the Never Wrong headline the event, along with Jali Kunda, preserving the musical heritage of Senegal, singer songwriter Carissa, multi-instrumentalist and songwriter Jonas Friddle, and Brooklyn, New York’s Gemma Laurence.
Also performing are Midwest folk troubadour Mark Dvorak, Marian Runk, the Deep Fried Pickle Project, Dodie Whitaker, The Goldenrods, Chirps Smith, Hey Okra, Paul Kaye, Andy Miller and the 145’s and Barbie Silverman.
The White Oak Savanna Sanctuary programs and mission promotes conservation through education and connection with nature, art and community.
