The Acoustic Neighbors live stream showcase returns February 23

RIVER FOREST IL - Music & Potlucks, a 501(c)(3) non-profit community organization, will present Acoustic Neighbors, an acoustic music live stream showcase on Wednesday, February 23 at 7:00 pm CST. The free, all-ages event will be hosted by Midwest singer songwriter and troubadour Mark Dvorak.

The event features performances by Guitar Charlie, a high school freshman with a wide repertoire and a rocking personality, Daniel Pierce, a singer, songwriter and former Chicago Public School music educator, Anna Stange from Madison, Florida who often works with young audiences but also shares a wide repertoire, and Sam Byerly from Yorkville IL. “Sammy From Miami” is a renown singer songwriter performer and an integral member of the Oak Park Farmer’s Market Music Co-op.

The Oak Park River Forest area based Music & Potlucks has presented over seventy live and live stream events since March of 2017 and has raised thousands of dollars for area food pantries, homeless shelters and other charities.

“Bringing community musicians together for the purpose of supporting our neighbors in need is at the core of our mission,”  said Dvorak, who has worked with Music & Potlucks, since it’s inception in 2017. "We come from different parts of the Midwest and different parts of the country but we are fortunately connected through music and the spoken word arts.”
