CHICAGO IL - Old Town School of Folk Music board member Louise Frank has offered her support for the Peggy Lipschutz Art Fund with a one-for-one challenge grant, open through the end of 2012.

"Peggy Lipschutz is a member of the Old Town School founding family," said Frank. "Her artwork has become one of the enduring trademarks of the school. We're planning on presenting her newest work, 'Joe Hill,' in a prominent place at the school, and I am proud to get behind this project."

The Peggy Lipschutz Art Fund was established by Old Town School faculty members Peg Browning and Mark Dvorak with the goal of raising funds to purchase the portrait and add it the permanent collection at the Old Town School of Folk Music, and make a separate gift to the Old Town School building fund in the name of Joe Hill.

The challenge grant matches donations one-for-one through the end of the year up to $500. A $25 pledge is matched with $25 dollars from the challenge grant, making the total benefit to the Lipschutz Art Fund $50. A $50 donation, makes the total benefit $100.
