Uncommon double bill at Lakeview club April 7

CHICAGO IL - Uncommon Ground, 3800 N. Clark Street, will present Urban Twang and singer songwriter Mark Dvorak in a special Chicago double bill on Sunday April 7 at 7:00 pm.
Urban Twang has been together as a sextet for more than two decades. They have worked with national touring acts, appeared in films and have made many appearances on television and radio. They are known for their compelling songs, gorgeous three-part harmonies and blend of Americana, roots music and alt-country.
Urban Twang is Trish Clausen, Max Twang, Caroline Cowan, Meaghan Hurley and Molly Rife.
In 2012 Rich Warren of WFMT’s Midnight Special named Mark Dvorak Chicago’s “official troubadour.” Dvorak is at work on his eighteenth recorded release, “Let Love Go On," due out later this year.
“At this stage of the game,” said Dvorak, “I feel like I’m doing my best work. I’m very excited about the new songs and CD, and I’m very excited to co-bill with Urban Twang. They’re legends around these parts."
General admission is $10. Reservations for dinner will guarantee a seat for the show. Mark Dvorak performers at 7:00 pm, Urban Twang at 8:00 pm. Contact Uncommon Ground at 773 929 3680 or visit online at www.uncommonground.com.
