Madison Folk Music Society stage at Willy Street Fair September 18 & 19
MADSION WI - The Madison Folk Music Society will present music on the main stage at the the 44th annual Willy Street Fair, 1050 Williamson Street on Saturday & Sunday, September 18 & 19. The event supports the Wil-Mar Neighborhood Center and Common Wealth Development.
On Saturday, September 18, 2:00 pm The Songs of John Prine will be performed in-the-round by Jeff Burkhart, Kaia Fowler and Nath Dresser.
At 3:30 pm Midwest troubadour Mark Dvorak takes the stage and at 5:00 pm it’s Brother Rye.
On Sunday, September 19, Peter & Lou Berryman perform at 12:00 noon, followed by the Songs of Bob Dylan performed in-the-round by Bill Camplin, Ken Lonquist and Lo Marie.
At 3:00 pm Ken Lonquist performs a solo set and the Ad Hoc Stringband closes at 5:00 pm.
The Madison Folk Music Society (Mad Folk) is a non-profit society dedicated to fostering folk and acoustic music in the Madison, Wisconsin area. Revenues are derived solely from memberships and concert ticket sales, plus special gifts from members and others.
