
Riverside musician among performers at venue’s 45th anniversary celebration

DOWNERS GROVE IL - Two Way Street Coffee House in Downers Grove will mark its 45th anniversary with a daylong celebration Nov., 7.
From 2 pm to midnight, the music venue will spotlight a handful of musicians and bands that have made Two Way Street a go-to destination for folk, roots, bluegrass and Americana music.

Beginning with the afternoon session at 2 pm, more than 20 other Chicago-area music organizations and venues will join Two Way Street in many of the events in the 45th anniversary celebration.
Rooms throughout the First Congregational Church will feature concerts, jam sessions, an Irish session, song circles, dances (world, line, Irish and old-time), an open mike, exhibits, and more events plus food served by Downers Grove’s Lemon Tree Grocer’s Zest Cafe. It is all open to the public.
At 7:30 pm, an all-star concert in the church auditorium will present artists Red Tail Ring, Lambert & Walz, Sons of the Never Wrong, and Mark Dvorak of Riverside, with special guests Don Stiernberg and John Abbey.
Rich Warren from WFMT 98.7fm will be on site broadcasting live segments from 7 pm to midnight.
All-day passes cost $22, afternoon admission costs $5 and the evening concert costs $20.
