The American Folk Song is Mark’s signature presentation. Stories about growing up in the Chicago area, familiar folk songs, oral history, plenty of humor, standards from the Great American songbook and the music of Woody Guthrie, Pete Seeger and Lead Belly. The American Folk Song can be presented as a concert or a workshop, and is suitable for middle school, high school and life-long learners.
