Showcasing SERFA

Chicago's official troubadour will appear at the Southeast Regional Folk Alliance Conference in Montreat, North Carolina on Thursday and Friday, May 16 and 17. Loretta Sawyer Acoustic Arts will be presenting Dvorak along with Woodsongs' host and creator Michael Johnathon, and others in an after-hours showcase in Room 218 of the historic conference center.

Dvorak was named "Chicago's Troubadour" by Rich Warren of WFMT's Midnight Special radio program and is Artist-in-Residence at Chicago's Old Town School of Folk Music. Dvorak has sustained a career of performing, recording and teaching for more than twenty-five years. His 2011 Waterbug release Time Ain't Got Nothin' On Me received national airplay and rose to number 14 on the Cashbox Roots Music Report.
