One Mark Stand copyCHICAGO IL - Chicago Troubadour Mark Dvorak will host a special Old Town School of Folk Music Acoustic Open Stage at The Grafton Pub & Grill, 4530 N. Lincoln Avenue, Chicago IL, on Tuesday, January 8.

The music begins at 9:45 pm and performers can choose to present up to three songs.

"It's been a long time since I hosted an open stage," said Dvorak. "It'll be a special evening I'm sure, with a lot of folks from the Old Town School coming by to perform."

"The set up will be very simple. We'll only have two microphones available for the performers, and we won't have the option to plug in. It'll be a pretty down-to-earth, acoustic evening," he said.

"There won't be much in the way of introductions, but I'll do my best to help each performer get ready so they can get right to the music," he said.

"We're not using a time limit of twelve minutes, or anything like that. I like to be considerate of those waiting for their turn, and those in attendance listening, who appreciate a well paced program."
