Labor Day Concert and sing along at Third Unitarian Church on September 2

CHICAGO IL - The Third Unitarian Church of Chicago, 301 N. Mayfield will present “A Labor Day Concert and Sing Along” with Chicago folk artist Mark Dvorak on Sunday, September 2 at 11:00 am.

“Each year we present a special music program on the Sunday before Labor Day,” said Laurel Lambert Schmidt of the Third Unitarian Church. “We’re presenting Mark for the third time. He is a treasured member of the community and we find a special ‘pull’ to his message and music.”

The public is invited to the concert. There is no admission charge but a free will donation will be accepted.

The church was founded in November 1868 and because of the pioneering architecture for its day, it has become an official landmark in the City of Chicago. The church is liberal and describes itself as “a progressive, welcoming, and diverse congregation.
