Mackinaw songs at August 9 concert

MACKINAW IL - Chicago's official troubadour, Mark Dvorak will perform at Mackinaw's first Firehouse Concert on Friday, August 9 at 6:00 pm. The event will take place at the Mackinaw Firehouse, 104 W. Madison and is sponsored by the Mackinaw Historical Collection and the Mackinaw District Library.

Dvorak, a song writer, folk historian and multi-instrumentalist will entertain with songs from Illinois history, five string banjo music and some of his original compositions. 

The program will include two recently written songs about Mackinaw's Hermit, Charles Schultz who lived alone in a home he built on a bluff overlooking the Mackinaw River. …

Heavens Mark releases MD DVD

Heavens Mark Productions announces the release of "Mark Dvorak," the latest DVD  from the Kentucky based Willis Music distributor.

"Listen to Mark if you have a chance," said Heaven's Mark producer Evan Mark Holzman. "He has a beautiful voice, and is quite the picker. His song writing is filled with striking imagery."

Only available at the markdvorak.com store, the 45 minute DVD captures MD live on a freezing February night in 2012 at the Wood Songs Coffee House in Florence KY. The show is unedited and presented here the way it went down - the songs, the stories & MD's signature vocal delivery.
