“We’re thrilled to have Mark back in South Bend,” said Michele Lowe, Executive Assistant at The Music Village, South Bend’s non-profit music school. “The Music Village has begun a partnership with Chicory Cafe and we’re excited to be bringing artists from across the Midwest to our community."

“He’s the real deal,” said Bau Graves, Executive Director of Chicago’s Old Town School of Folk Music. ”Mark has made music his life and livelihood. He’s been a top faculty member at the school for almost thirty years. His performances are elegant, rich and powerful.”

Dvorak has performed in thirty-eight states, and in Canada, Ireland and Finland and is busy working on his eighteenth album release, “Let Love Go On.”

“People are looking for each other,” said the singer. “Folk music and the people who make it have always responded in times of struggle and unrest. Our country and our communities are divided in many ways, but we look to music to affirm all we share in common, and all we hope to achieve."

“I've been on the road since last June,” he said. “These songs say things that each of us is feeling, but can’t always express at work or over the dinner table. And people are responding.”

The Chicago Tribune calls Dvorak "masterful," while SING OUT! Magazine says, "Dvorak shines!" His song writing has been called "wondrous" and “ profound.”

The Chicory Cafe is South Bend’s home for coffee, Cajun cuisine, cocktails and great music. There is no cover charge for the show. For more information phone 574 234 1141 or log on to Visit The Music Village online at
