Dvorak has released seventeen albums to date and performed in thirty-eight states, and in Canada, Ireland and Finland. In 2013 he was honored by Folk Alliance International with the FARM Lantern Bearer Award for his contributions to folk and community music. That same year he published his first book of essays and poetry, “Bowling for Christmas and Other Tales from the Road.”

“Mark has been on the road for a lot of years it seems,” said Stamsta. "He’s a favorite in the Midwest and is gaining attention across the country. I’m really thrilled to be sharing the night with him at The Buzz.”

Stamsa has released two independent CDs, and recently peformed as guest artist at the legendary Two Way Street Coffee House in Downers Grove, opening for Claudia Schmidt.

“She’s just wonderful, said Schmidt. “It’s a real treat to see a young woman with her voice and desire.”

“Amelia is an outstanding young artist,” said Lilli Kuzma, host of WDCB 90.0 fm “Folk Festival.” “I was wowed by her amazing voice. Everyone just stood there with their jaws dropping, listening.”

A $5 - $10 donation is suggested. For information call 708 524 2899. Visit www.thebuzzcafe.com for their menu of soups, salads and evening fare.
