Original song on the menu at Wishbone North April 21

CHICAGO - Wishbone North, 3300 N. Lincoln Avenue presents singer songwriters Sue Fink, Mark Dvorak and Val Leventhal on Saturday, April 21. The music begins at 7:00 pm.

“This is a fantastic triple bill,” said Wishbone manager Mikki Greenburg. “Sue is a regular performer for us and Val has been active in Chicago as a singer and performer for years.

"Mark is a legend at the Old Town School. His songwriting is incredible.”

The three artists will perform “in-the-round.”

Sue Fink is a witty social commentator and perceptive of the human condition. She describes her music as “urban campfire cabaret” - folk with a hint of jazz and a large dollop of humor.

In 2012 WFMT 98.7 fm Fine Arts Radio named Mark Dvorak “Chicago’s official troubadour.” He will perform songs from his eighteenth recording project, “Let Love Go On,” due out later this year.

Val Leventhal has been performing since the 1970s. She writes and sings folk, country, rock, blues, jazz and pop. She has worked as a professional session vocalist, jingle singer and private vocal coach. Val is currently composing new material for her new CD, “Sibling Rivalry.”

Wishbone North is Lakeview’s home for Southern reconstruction cooking, and presents live music each Thursday through Sunday in their adult listening room.

There is no cover charge but donations to the artists are welcome. For more information, contact Wishbone North at 773 549 2663 or visit online at
